When is it time to raise your prices? – Camilla Kristiansen – Medium
When is it time to raise your prices?
First when you are starting out in business you just set a price regarding to what your competitions do or what you think the right market price is. Or you do as I do, follow my soul and tune within and set a price that feels good for me. Then you have been in business for a while and you work with maybe coaching clients, do VIP days, events etc. When is it time to raise your prices?
The right answer to this is……when you feel that you want to. Don’t follow a script on how others did it. Yes, it can be good to listen to your mentor and do as she did, but then again you must listen to what you feel inside is right for you.
Always raise your price when you feel that this is bullshit that you are not charging more, then your time has come to raise your prices.
The price dosen’t matter that much at all. You can charge $97 for an hour coaching or you can charge $5000. It all depend on what you BELIEVE you deserve. So if you have had the same price for years, then you must ask yourself “why is that so?”. Everything else in the market economy will get more expensive year by year, so if you want to keep up with this you need to think smart.
The right clients will find you. Those you market to and message to and help with your free content.
There can’t be enough free content, because it will guide the right clients to you.
Some of my high end clients found me and signed up without even talking to me on a Strategy Session. They just knew that they had to work with me.
Of course I started out with selling more affordable package. We all have to start somewhere, but I want to empower you as a leader online to take a look at your prices and see if you can raise them. Tune within and ask your soul “is the time come for me to raise my prices?”. If you get a yes, then go for it. If you get a no then be fine with that.
Selling is super easy. It is just a connection you have with someone that you like. I love all my clients and that is important for me. They have to be willing to do the work and they will. The higher the price, the more willingness it will be to take action.
Go after your big dreams now and be bold and brave when it comes to your pricing. In the end, all that matters is that you are happy with running your business. You can charge whatever you want. You are the only person that can hold you back, no one else. Don’t blame it on the economy, the universe is unlimited with money and clients for everyone, including you.
